twenty five years later The real world: BostonThis reality TV star is fitter than ever.
The Challenge: All Stars fans noticed Yarbrough’s shocking fitness transformation when they tuned in for the season three premiere on May 11. Later, the 50-year-old opened up about her 60-pound weight loss in an interview with E! News.
“I feel completely reinvigorated. Honestly, every day is my birthday now,” Yarbrough said. “It’s amazing to be back in the spotlight and go out and show the world the natural progress of my life. It’s a different feeling when you’re 50 years old and you still have the opportunity to go out and compete.”
In addition to adopting the ketogenic diet and eliminating alcohol and sugar from his diet, Yarbrough strives to hit 20 miles a day, whether on a bike, elliptical or running. As for your decision to be healthier? That happened after her doctor told her that she had high blood pressure.
“I felt really good and that was one of the factors to push it further,” Yarbrough recalled. “I was already down the road, but after that I was like, ‘Look, no, no way. This changes tomorrow’. And I just fired up everything I needed to get it back in order. Here I am now, feeling better and healthier than ever.”
