The staggering price of Hollywood memorabilia, including Thor’s hammer, will be on display at an upcoming Prop Store auction.
During a segment on Weekend Today on Saturday, Prop Store CEO Brandon Alinger discussed selling the iconic items beloved by moviegoers.
Thor’s original hammer is under the hammer, and the rubber mallet is expected to sell for between $100,000 and $150,000.

“There’s a lot of interest in it, it’s actually a rubber stunt version,” Brandon said. ‘It’s for when the actors are spinning so they don’t hurt anyone.’
Brandon went on to exhibit a model X-wing fighter from the first Star Wars movie in 1977, which is gaining a lot of interest.
Forbes.com lists the model with a possible sale price of between $500,000 and $1 million.

‘The common trait is passion. They love these things and they love having the opportunity to own them,” Brandon said.
The entire auction has items from over 600 productions and is expected to fetch around $9 million in sales.
The live stream auction will take place on June 21 with bids open to local watchers.
