Daniel Craig appeared in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’. Interpreting…?

First of all I warn of spoilers, because the news is not indicated for those who have not seen the movie and do not want to know details about it. On the contrary, if you have seenDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘, except that the new MCU movie features a wide variety of cameos, including the appearance of the Illuminati, a group that has a long history in the world of Marvel Comics, but not so much in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the movie, since Strange arrives in an alternate universe and a sea captured by Mordo, they take him to the Illuminati, a group that includes Mordo, Captain Marvel (played by Lashana Lynch), Captain Carter (played by Haley Atwell ), Black Lightning (played by Anson Mount), Professor X (played by Patrick Stewart), and John Krasinski as Reed Richards, aka Mister Fantastic from the Fantastic Four.
Krasinski’s inclusion caught the attention of fans so much, according to Deadline’s Justin Kroll, the actor wasn’t the first candidate to play Reed Richards in the Doctor Strange sequel. In a series of tweets about the film, Kroll revealed that he actually Daniel Craig the first option to interpret the character, but ended up withdrawing from the project due to the fact that at the time of filming COVID cases were increasing in London and Craig did not want to take the risk to only shoot a couple of takes.
The truth is that prior to Kroll’s comments, there were already rumors about the possible participation of Craig as one of the members of the Illuminati in the film directed by sam raimi. Of course, these rumors suggested that the actor was going to play Balder el Bravo, not Mister Fantastic.
Fun fact, Krasinski wasn’t the first choice, the actor who was originally going to play the role was ready to film, but when there was a spike in COVID cases, he backed out because he lived in London and didn’t think about how fast. shooting wasn’t worth the risk of bringing COVID back into the family pic.twitter.com/sD9nT0omki
