All the news from San Diego ComicCon 2022

One of the most anticipated events of the year in terms of news and film previews has finally returned, and it has done so in a big way.

Hall H has been the space where both DC and Marvel have presented their news in the last 24 hours. From Shazam and Black Adam, to the first look at Namor, with permission from the leak a few weeks ago, in the Wakanda Forever trailer.

Below we leave you with the most outstanding novelties presented at this San Diego ComicCon 2022.

Trailer for Wakanda Forever, a sequel that will precede the new Black Panther, in addition to the introduction of Namor (Tenoch Huerta) in the MCU

Wakanda Forever will be the final point in Phase 4 of the MCU, there it will serve to present its new characters with a great projection within 5 and 6. In addition to Tenoch Huerta as Namor, Dominique Thorne will also adopt his protagonist in Iron Heart. In addition to other secondary characters from the Atlantean environment, such as Mabel Cadena as Namora and Josué Maychi as Attuma.

First poster for Antman and the Wasp Quantumania, where we can see Kang again, after his introduction in the Loki series, but according to the actor who plays him, Jonathan Major: “there will be conquest”.

And pay attention to that ending in which we see part of another well-known lawyer within the MCU…

In the same way that the previous phases of the MCU carried the title of “the saga of Infinity”, these new phases, 4, 5 and 6, carried the name of “Multiverse saga”.

Thus, Marvel has presented the Phase 5 calendar as well as the first details of the next Phase 6. Let’s go now with Phase 5:
-Quantumania, February 17, 2023
-Secret Invasion (Disney Plus series), Spring 2023
– Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 3, May 5, 2023
-Echo (series on Disney Plus), summer from 2023
-Loki, season 2 (series on Disney Plus), summer 2023
-Wonderland, July 29, 2023
-Sheet, November 3, 2023
-Ironheart (Disney Plus series), 2023
-Agatha (series on Disney Plus), winter 2023-24
-Daredevil, Born Again (Disney Plus series), Spring 2024
-Captain America, New World Order, May 3, 2024
-Ray, July 26, 2024
We have been able to see directors pass through this panel, including James Gunn, who has anticipated that volume 3 of Guardians of the Galaxy will be the last of these characters within the MCU. Similarly, it has also been anticipated that Maria Bakalova will be Cosmo and Chukwudi Iwuji The High Evolutionary or High Evolutionary, Will Poulter as Adam.

Another addition to the MCU is Olivia Colman, who will play an old alias of Nick Fury from the Secret Invasion series.

In the same way, news of the next phases of the MCU has also been advanced, and at the moment we already have three titles of the next Phase 6:
-Fantastic Four, November 8, 2024
-Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, May 2, 2025
-Avengers: Secret Wars, November 7, 2025
Of course, they will not be the only titles that we will see, we will have to fill in those gaps both with characters of specific weight within the MCU and with series that can be seen on Disney Plus.

In addition, we can see our “minor” products, as is the case with the Soy Groot series that we can see on Disney Plus starting August 10.

But not everything is Marvel and DC, we have also been able to see the final trailer for Sandman, the series adaptation for Netflix of the famous saga created by Neil Gaiman that we can see from August 5.

The final trailer of the series for Prime Video The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which we can see in September, has also been presented.

In March 2023 I will leave the fourth installment of John Wick, without knowing exactly how many he will kill per minute, but we are very excited to see how he continues to distribute art.

We have also had a trailer for Dungeons & Dragons, a new adaptation of the famous role-playing game created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, and that we can see on the big screen on March 3 in theaters.
